Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the world’s premiere athletes and arguably the greatest soccer player of this generation. Yet, he will miss the upcoming matchup with Barcelona due to another positive test for COVID-19.
Ronaldo tested positive last week, but a week later is still positive. Therefore, due to UEFA regulations, even if he were to test positive as early as tomorrow he’d be ineligible to play against Barcelona. A player must be COVID negative for minimum of one full week, per league rules.
