Cowboys DC Dan Quinn has emerged as the favorite for the Denver Broncos head coaching job

While the Dallas Cowboys get ready to face the San Francisco 49ers in the first round of the playoffs, they may need to figure out who coaches their defense in 2022.

Dan Quinn, the Cowboys defensive coordinator, has emerged as the favorite to land the Denver Broncos head coaching job.

Quinn was in his first season coaching the Dallas defense under Mike McCarthy after spending six seasons as the head coach of the Atlanta Falcons. Quinn went 43-42 as the Falcons head coach before he was fired in Week 5 of the 2020 season.

The Broncos are looking for their next head coach after dismissing Vic Fangio as their head coach after three seasons.
