We’ve all seen sexy scenes on TV where two lovers start making out and before you know it, they’re doing the old slide and glide on the nearest couch, divan, or love seat (talk about your perfectly-named furniture). However, is the living room appropriate for making love to that special someone you swiped on Tinder? Was the couch made for coitus? If you have a pull-out bed, it would seem to be an easy answer as you can get hot and heavy on the bed. However, most people don’t have a pull-out bed in their living room but when passion strikes, a trip to the bedroom may be too far.

What seems like a good idea at the time could prove otherwise when you get up the next morning and find your new furniture with some unsightly stains. Then again, there is something to be said for today’s cleaning products as well as the time-tested method of flipping a cushion over.

Ultimately, the choice is up to you. In my experience, it’s okay if it’s someone else’s home (unless you’re a professional house sitter), but that’s just me. What’s your view on fondling (and more) on the furniture? Let us know in the comments below.
