Conor McGregor Is Being Hunted On Twitter By Nate Diaz, Tony Ferguson, And Belal Muhammad

Written by Incognito

UFC superstar is truly a polarizing character in the MMA world. One would think after breaking his leg in the trilogy bout against Dustin Poirier at UFC 264 he would focus on rehabbing his leg back to health. In true McGregor fashion, he’s lighting the world on fire.

The melee began when Nate Diaz teased a possible fight against fellow lightweight warrior, Tony Ferguson. Diaz tweeted a photo of Ferguson holding the UFC Interim Lightweight belt.

McGregor saw said tweet and replied with the a photo of him being interviewed on the canvas after breaking his leg at UFC 264 against Dustin Poirier. He quickly deleted the tweet, but not before the internet grabbed a screenshot.

Many speculated this was a jab at Diaz for choosing to fight Ferguson as McGregor is out for the forseeable future. A fight between Diaz and Ferguson could set up a possible future fight against McGregor.

Then in a strange turn of events, Ferguson entered the conversation and aimed his missiles toward McGregor thus igniting a firestorm.

A fan directed a comment towards McGregor regarding his size and how he is never stepping foot in the octagon again. Ferguson commented on said tweet alleging that McGregor takes growth hormones, is a cheat, and is mentally weak. He also took a personal blow regarding McGregor’s recent alleged DJ beatdown in Italy.

McGregor went postal and retaliated towards Ferguson with some personal jabs of his own referencing the temporary domestic violence restraining order that was placed against him by his wife two years ago after allegedly suffering from a mental breakdown. The entire situation was messy and included his frightened wife calling the police as Ferguson ran away from their home with their son in the pouring rain in the middle of the night.

Ferguson didn’t respond to the above tweet while McGregor continued.

Nate Diaz then threw his hat back into the ring by subliminally tweeting towards McGregor that he’s not even able to fight.

UFC welterweight, Belal Muhammad also took a jab at McGregor implying McGregor is acting like a Twitter thug talking trash to people in the United States while he is half a world away overseas.

In summary, Conor McGregor woke up today and chose violence. Even when he’s not able to fight, he’s still a polarizing character in the sport. Not to be outdone, Nate Diaz is a superstar in his own right and gets the internet excited any time he fights, but McGregor truly incites Twitter wars and it seems as if everyone wants a piece of the pie.

Fans anticipate a fight between lightweights Nate Diaz and Tony Ferguson in the near future, which could be a contender for Fight of the Year as both veterans possess excellent striking and jiu jitsu. It would be a fight for the ages as NorCal (Diaz) takes on SoCal (Ferguson). Can you imagine the fireworks?
