Conor McGregor is Back – The Notorious One Wins in Dominating Fashion at UFC 246

Written by Brad Shepard

Fighting for the first time in the UFC since being submitted by Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 229, Conor McGregor silenced his critics by returning to the octagon and defeating Donald Cerrone in dominating fashion at UFC 246.

McGregor was aggressive out of the gate, landing shoulder strikes in close quarters which busted Cerrone’s face.  From there, McGregor seized on the opportunity with a perfectly landed face kick, followed by a series of brutal punches which forced referee Herb Dean to stop the fight only 40 seconds in.

Conor McGregor is back in a big way, and that’s great news for the UFC and its fans.
