Conor McGregor did an interview with MacLife today, and he might have made his craziest statement yet. He said he wants to come back in late summer and challenge Kamaru Usman for the welterweight title. It’s cool that he wants to come back so soon, but that’s really the only cool part about that statement.

I love Conor, and I’d certainly root for him, but let’s be honest, he has NO CHANCE in that fight. Kamaru would smash him into oblivion within two minutes. Stylistically, I just see no outcomes of that fight that involve Conor winning. He’s not gonna catch him, because he’s gonna get taken down in 30 seconds.

I guess the question is, would the UFC actually do this? How by the balls does Conor have them? Can he just get literally any fight he wants despite only winning one fight since 2016? I don’t think so, but it is Conor.

All I know is that if Conor does win there’s gonna be a lot of fat, angry Dana White haters on Twitter. They might start a riot.
