Colts Player Arrested For Allegedly Punching His Son & Choking His Boyfriend

Written by TrevStone

Wow! What a crazy day and age we live in. Today there is a crazy story that we have to report on. If you’re a fan of the Indianapolis Colts, you might be a little bit disappointed.

Former Indianapolis Colts lineman and radio personality Joseph Staysniak is facing a strangulation charge and two counts of battery causing injury.

Records stated he confronted his son and another individual in a car in his driveway.

Staysniak allegedly pulled the hoodie of the individual, which choked him.

The other person told police that Staysniak had a gun and put it against the side of his face. He also said Staysniak hit him and punched his son.

His son told police that his father punched him in the mouth and that he saw his father grab the individual’s hood, choking him, according to the Indianapolis Star.

“Lucas advised that his father opened the rear right passenger door and that when he did his he [sic] grabbed [passenger’s] hood and was choking him,” the affidavit read. “Lucas stated that his father then punched him, causing his lip to bleed, and then punched [passenger]. Lucas stated that his father then displayed a firearm and told him and [passenger] that they’re lucky he saw who it was.”

Staysniak was arrested on charges of battery, pointing a firearm, intimidation, strangulation, and domestic battery.

Staysniak was drafted in 1990 by the San Diego Chargers in the seventh round out of Ohio State.

He went on to play for the Buffalo Bills, Kansas City Chiefs, and then Colts, where he played from 1992-1995. He started all 16 games for the Indianapolis Colts during the 1994 and 1995 NFL seasons.

He has been on the radio since then and was briefly suspended in 2020 for comments he made on-air about the George Floyd protests. Joe Staysniak stated on his radio show that black people needed to stop “being a victim,” and that he found it “harder and harder to believe [black people] are being targeted” by the police.

Imagine that? Now he is going after his son and his gay boyfriend? Can’t tell me looking at this guy you didn’t see that one coming:
