What a year in college sports. Who would have thought that 2021-2022 would be the final season we would see coach Mike Krzyzewski leading the Duke Blue Devils.
The best part about his final run at Duke is that he has somehow led the team to yet another Final Four, and could very well lead his team to a national championship. It is also fitting that Duke is facing off against their arch nemesis, the North Carolina Tar Heels (UNC) in the Final Four.
Krzyzewski sat down with ESPN Conor long ago and talked about his leaving Duke, and why he felt that his apprentice Jon Scheyer was the best candidate to replace him at Duke. Be sure to watch the video below.
In other NCAA coaching news, it appears that recently hired LSU Football coach Brian “Coach K” Kelly seems to be quite comfortable in his new home in Louisiana. According to the East Baton Rouge Clerk of Court’s Office, Kelly recent purchased a lakefront home on East Lakeshore Drive.
Many were surprised that Brian Kelly was offered the job at LSU and to date, many people are still critical of the view saying that he is not a cultural fit and will not last in the LSU system. Only time will tell if “Coach K” will lead LSU football to prominence o de again.
