Dan Snyder has resisted to change the team that he owns name, so much that Fedex has put pressure since they own the naming rights to their stadium. Washington’s probably is going to change their name amid this pressure, but it has put other racially insensitive team names on notice.
The Cleveland Indians have received the same amount of scrutiny. So much they removed Chief Wahoo as the logo going into the 2018 season.
