Clay Matthews Headed To ER after being hit with line drive during a charity softball game [Video]

Green Bay Packers linebacker Clay Matthews and other teammates participated in a charity softball game this weekend and it didn’t go as planned. Matthews was hit in the face with a line drive as he was pitching.

He “got a little boo boo on his nose,” teammate Davante Adams later told the crowd, indicating that Matthews wasn’t seriously injured. (Video on page 2 below)

#Packers LB Clay Matthews is headed to the ER after being hit by a line drive in a charity softball game. The belief now is it’s just a broken nose, but he’s having a full workup to be sure. Scary situation, and if it’s just the nose, it could have been much worse.

Proceeds from the game go to the organization Young Life, which pairs children with adults who can provide guidance and friendship.
