Comments that greatest NBA player of all time, Michael Jordan, said to Charles Barkley has started to resurface. The two of them were formerly best friends but haven’t talked since an incident that happened years back. Both of them have created a huge life after basketball. One a little bigger than the other, obviously. But here we are still talking about them.
During an appearance on “ALL THE SMOKE with Matt Barnes & Stephen Jackson” in February, Barkley revealed the last conversation he had with Jordan:
“He called me and the last thing I heard was ‘Mother (expletive), (expletive) you. You’re supposed to be my boy.’ I said ‘Man, I gotta do my job.’ We haven’t spoken since that night.”

“Michael Jordan, losing his friendship was probably the most prominent thing that’s happened to me. But I was being honest about what I thought. I said, ’Listen, the toughest thing about Michael, he’s got to put better people around him.’ Because the toughest thing, when you’re famous, they’re on your private jet, you’re buying all the drinks, you’re buying all the dinners. Very few people are gonna be honest with you,”Barkley said.
“I try to surround myself with people like, hey, if I’m screwing up, please tell me.And Michael got offended about something I said about him. And we haven’t spoken in probably almost 10 years. And he was my best friend at the time. And I love the dude like a brother and we’re both stubborn and we haven’t talked,”
Former Bulls forward Charles Oakley, one of Jordan’s friends, defended Jordan:
“Barkley, he can never get back in (Jordan’s inner circle). No matter what he do. He do jumping jack, push-ups, he can’t get back in the family, he out,” Oakley said.
