Los Angeles Chargers backup QB Easton Stick will remain with the team and backup Justin Herbert in 2023, as per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
The Chargers re-signed Stick on Monday. Stick and Chase Daniel both played out their quarterback contracts, and it’s unclear at this time whether Daniel will be back with the team in 2023.
A 2019 fifth-round draft pick out of North Dakota State, Stick has spent his entire NFL career with the Chargers. He has taken just two snaps in his career, once completing a four-yard pass and once kneeling down at the end of a game.
