After a close game against the Pacers, the Boston Celtics move up to the number four seed after beating the Indiana Pacers 114-112 Friday night at the TD Garden. Already one game behind the Pacers the Celtics needed this win to gain the home-court advantage once the playoffs start next month.

What was great about this game tonight was the aggressiveness, absolutely ruthless. Getting in the paint/ hoop is what matters and that showed tonight, and Kyrie Irving and Jaylen Brown did exactly just that. Irving, who had 30 points was the player of the game got to the basket at the last second able to take the two-point lead against the Pacers. The crowd was already going wild long before the 4th quarter with massive plays from Jayson Tatum and the power duo of Aaron Baynes and Al Horford, who was also not very happy with a bad call on him.

This was an important game tonight like previously mentioned. The Celtics were able to take the number four seed. Brad Stevens just said in his post-game interview that “Yes, we beat them, but I don’t think we would be able to beat them in a seven-game series. So, we have to be better.” Finally what was also great was how the Celtics started where they were able to have multiples players ear double doubles within the first half. The Celtics will finish off their series with the Pacers on April 5th.

Tomorrow the Celtics will be in Brooklyn to face the Nets.
