WHAT A WILD GAME! With the overtime win, the Boston Celtics have a very Merry Christmas beating the Philadelphia Sixers at the TD Garden 121-114. Like I said, it was a wild game and mostly because of Kyrie Irving who was channeling cosmic energy.
Kyrie< Untucked Kyrie< Christmas Kyrie. Plain and simple, Kyrie Irving had a career game tonight scoring 40 points and having 10 rebounds for the first time ever in his 472-game career. And this all comes after telling the press that the closed locker room meetings are none of their business. I love this, I need more of this Kyrie and this Celtics team overall really, I’m addicted.
Cosmic Kyrie was not the only player that had a hell of a game 👁. Jayson Tatum and Marcus Morris Sr. both scored 23 points and Tatum had a good amount of breakaways that got the crowd hyped up as well.
Overall, what a great Christmas for the Celtics! Now they just need to keep this momentum and prepare for the Houston Rockets on Thursday in Houston against James Harden (remember that weird Taco Bell commercial he was in). Merry Christmas 🎅🏼🎄🎁
