The Cleveland Cavaliers have been a pleasant surprise in 2022 and they intend on making a playoff push.

They already acquired Rajon Rondo earlier this season. With days until the trade deadline, the Cavaliers are making another move to acquire Caris LeVert from the Indians Pacers.

The 27-year old LeVert is averaging 18.7 points per game for the disappointing Pacers, who are exploring trading off assets.

With the trade, the Pacers get two first round picks and two second round picks, plus Ricky Rubio’a expiring contract.

Rubio tore his ACL at the end of December, so Cleveland was looking to shed his contract. He’ll likely be waived by the Pacers since he’s unable to play.
