Call Her Daddy Close to Joining Forces with Spotify? – @callherdaddy @alexandracooper

In an article by Alejandro Avila of Outkick.com, Barstool Sports’s popular podcast, ‘Call Her Daddy,’ and host Alexandra Cooper is reported to be closing in on joining with Spotify in a licensing agreement worth up to $20 million.

Avila stated in the post that the agreement could not only to take over the podcast itself, but signs are pointing that there might be another future program surrounding Cooper.

The big news for both sides came just a year after the publicized feud between Cooper, Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy and her former cohost, Sofia Franklyn.

It is apparent that everything has been settled and worked out on all ends as Cooper stuck with Barstool Sports as the now-sole host of ‘Call Her Daddy,’ and Franklyn started another podcast of her own in ‘Sofia with an F.’

The signing would be part of a year-long push by Spotify to put themselves as the premier podcast platform in the world, and with ‘Call Her Daddy’ potentially coming to their network, it could solidify their push in the podcast rankings.
