In a horrifying scene and situation earlier today, one of the players from the Calgary Flames is reported to be alert and responsive after collapsing and convulsing on the ice during practice.
According to NHL beat writer Kristen Anderson, defenceman T.J. Brodie collapsed and appeared to have suffered a seizure this afternoon during a drill.
Terrifying moment at #Flames practice as TJ Brodie collapsed during a drill (standing by himself) on the ice and started convulsing. Ambulance was called and he was attended to, taken off the ice on a stretcher. Everyone is incredibly shaken at the Dome.
