Phillies star player Bruce Harper will continue to be the DH when he returns from injury. Harper has been out since June 25 with a broken left thumb. On August 1st, he had the three pins from his left thumb. The Phillies hope he returns in September. The 2021 NL MVP would be a major boost to the Phillies offense and help them make a post season push. Harper was having a great year before being struck by a Blake Snell fastball. He is batting .318 with 15 homers and 48 RBI’s in 64 games. Harper has been the DH since injuring his right elbow in early April. The Phillies have been playing great baseball and adding Harper’s bat back to this lineup will be a major plus.
