Written by Tony Ghaul

Bryce Harper had a short rehab stint with the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs. Once, Harper returned to the Phillies he still made sure to take care of his Triple-A teammates.

Harper made his debut back to the Phillies lineup on Friday night. He paid for both the IronPigs and Gwinnett Stripers-the Atlanta Braves Triple-A affiliate to have Mission BBQ before Friday night’s game. On Saturday, the IronPigs we’re treated by Harper to a PRIME Steak House dinner.

It was a great gesture by Harper. The seven time all-star went 5-8 with two home runs and six RBIs in a pair of rehab games with the IronPigs.

Harper went 3-10 with two RBIs and two walks in his return to the lineup as the Phillies took two of three from the Pittsburgh Pirates.
