Bryce Harper Reaches 1,500 Career Hits With A Blast

Philadelphia Phillies star Bryce Harper reached another career milestone last night. He went 2 for 3 in last night’s 7-6 loss to the Atlanta Braves.

Harper blasted his 17th home run of the season was also his 1,500th career hit.

This was the second big milestone that Harper has reached this season. He hit his 300th career home run on August 30 against the Los Angeles Angels.

Harper became the 28th player in MLB history to hit 300 home runs by age 30. He is the sixth active player to record 1,500 hits and 300 HR in his first 12 MLB seasons.

Harper has won the NL Rookie of the Year award, the NL MVP twice, two silver slugger Awards and the 2022 NL Championship Series MVP. He has also been named to the All-Star team seven times.

For the season, Harper has 17 home runs with 61 RBIs and a .298 batting average. He missed the first month of the season due to offseason Tommy John surgery.
