Philadelphia Phillies star first baseman Bryce Harper is not in the starting lineup for today’s game against the Atlanta Braves.

Harper fell into the camera well chasing down a foul ball in yesterday’s game. He remained in the game until the top of the eighth when Edmundo Sosa entered and Alec Bohm shifted over to first base.

Harper was not removed because of the flip, Thomson said, but rather to get him off his feet in the late innings of an eight-run deficit.

The Phillies look to avoid being swept by the Braves today. They send Ranger Suarez to the mound to face Chris Sale.
