Browns and Panthers are out for Deshaun Watson; Falcons and Saints are the finalists

Written by Doug Rush

Deshaun Watson has met with four teams. He has told two of them that he won’t be playing for them.

The Cleveland Browns were told they were out.

And so are the Carolina Panthers.

That leaves two teams; the Atlanta Falcons and New Orleans Saints.

Atlanta would have to trade Matt Ryan if Watson does choose them, meanwhile, the Saints have their starting quarterback role wide open since last year’s starter; Jameis Winston, is now a free agent.

All eyes are on Watson and his choice for 2022.
