When the Houston Texans fired David Culley as their head coach, the franchise may have had a candidate in mind.
Brian Flores, the former Miami Dolphins head coach, is considered to be the favorite to land the Texans head coaching job.
If Flores is the next coach of the Texans, he could then potentially mend the relationship between the franchise and Deshaun Watson, who despite having sexual misconduct allegations against him, was a healthy scratch for the entire season.
The rumor was that Watson wanted to be with the Dolphins and go with Flores, which still may be the case.
Flores went 19-14 in his last two seasons in Miami and beat the New England Patriots and his former mentor, Bill Belichick four of the last six times.
