As you can guess this isn’t good for the Titans. A team who really has their whole identity in one giant man is at stake now. The Titans have not proven that they can win without the star running back. It appears that Henry suffered a foot injury early in yesterdays 34-31 will over the Colts.
First off we all wish Derrick Henry a safe and speedy recovery and hope that this doesn’t damper the legendary type of season he has been putting together.
I mean just take a peak here at these numbers. HE IS A BEAST. Henry has outgained his whole team by far and has made a mockery of defenses as this season has progress. The Titans have been a very run heavy offense and without much knowledge on backup running back Jeremy McNichols we can only assume the team is in trouble.
Will the Titans try and make a move to trade that will help keep their heads above water in a very lack luster division? I’m not sure but Pat McAfee has some opinions of his own.
This one doesn’t make sense to me honestly. Tony Pollard has been a key piece for Dallas this season and them moving on from him doesn’t really add up, especially with Dak Prescott’s status up in the air. Now, D’Ernest Johnson could be a play here, but still unlikely. The young running back has only had 1 career start in which he balled out, but maybe the Titans roll the dice here and hope for a great surprise.
Hopefully Henry’s injury isn’t super detrimental to his and the Titans season, also thoughts and prayers to Derrick Henry fantasy owners.
