Absolutely the worst news to hear. Stud wideout Chris Godwin went down last night in the Buc’s game against the New Orleans Saints, and after the original assessment things seemed to be very optimistic. Sadly after his MRI today things took a turn for the worst.
A torn ACL is catastrophic for any person. This is obviously a big blow to him and the rest of his team, as it seemed the Buc’s struggled mightily without their 2nd best pass catcher.
The Buccaneers are now without, Antonio Brown, Chris Godwin, and even lost Mike Evans and Leonard Fournette last night. I’m never one to doubt the GOAT but with him being 44 and not having his star weapons winning will be a challenge for Tampa Bay moving forwards.
Hopefully Godwin recovers fully and quickly because we’ll all miss him dearly.
