After weeks of promos, interviews and even shows being broadcasted live from the site of Wrestlemania 38, Pat McAfee made his dream come true on this very night.
In front of a packed house at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas and with WWE chairman Mr. McMahon at ringside, McAfee got the roll-up and won his match against Austin Theory.
However, his celebration was halted as the boss himself, Mr. McMahon, would put himself in the ring and actually beats up McAfee after the match was over.
Maybe this will lead to another storyline coming up in later PPVs, but in real life, Vince has got to be happy for Pat to get his opportunity in the ring in front of the world.
It is going to be a crazy week on the show for Pat and his crew, and our best bet is he will still be on cloud 9 by the time 12:00 Eastern comes.
