The authorities in Indianapolis have reported a shooting at a local FedEx warehouse late Thursday evening. Local media outlets have indicated that there were several victims of gunfire.

By telephone early Friday morning, Joseph McAtee of the Martion County Sheriff’s Office said that a shooting had occurred at a FedEx warehouse nearby the Indianapolis Airport. He indicated that he could not provide any further details.

At this point, there are no details as to whether there were any casualties from the shootings.

The FedEx facility on Mirabel Road in Indianapolis is where they shooting occurred. According to local media outlet WRTV, Officer Genae Cook of the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department said officers had been called to the scene around 11 p.m. after shots were fired.

A reporter with WRTV posted an interview on Twitter with a man who said he had been at the facility when the shooting broke out and later saw a body on the floor.

Courtney Crown, a reporter with a Fox News affiliate in Indianapolis, posted another interview with a man who said his niece had been hospitalized after being shot in the left arm when the shooting broke out.
