Former Mets Reliever, Pedro Feliciano, passed away last night. The cause of death was not given. But, it looks like it was during his sleep.

At the age of 45, Felicaino was a stud lefty specialist for the Mets in his career back when lefties could come in and face one batter. He pitched in 459 games for the Mets which is 2nd all-time, behind John Franco, which is astonishing.

He also had a brief stint with the Yankees before eventually returning to Queens to finish out his career.

Pedro was also seen jet skiing during the day as well. He did have some heart issues reported back in 2013, so it will be interesting to see if that has any correlation.

Nonetheless my condolences sent out to his family, friends and the Mets organization. Rest in peace to a good ball player.
