According to the Chippewa County Health Department, the first Coronavirus case in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan has been confirmed.
As first reported by Jack Hall from the Radio Results Network, the first presumptive positive case in the U.P. is in the Sault Ste. Marie area.

As shown in the press release above, the male victim is currently hospitalized in isolation (not in Chippewa County).
This comes after multiple cases have been confirmed in the Lower Peninsula. There is now estimated 1,000 cases confirmed in the state of Michigan alone.
An investigation is currently underway to see who he is contact with beforehand.
We will provide more information to this post, once it is brought up and provided.
