*BREAKING* Dana White Buys Private Island To Hold UFC Events During Coronavirus Pandemic | #UFC249 #Coronavirus

Written by Colby Faria

According to UFC President, Dana White, himself and the UFC have secured a private island to host UFC events over the course of the next few weeks or months during the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic. White also said that he has purchased multiple private planes to fly the fighters, teams, staff and medical workers to and from the events. White didn’t say whether UFC 249 would take place on this island, but he did announce that from April 18th forward, the UFC is back to being fully-operational and will hold fights every weekend, as usual.

Earlier today, White announced that Justin Gaethje would replace Khabib Nurmagomedov in the main event of UFC 249. The event was originally scheduled to take place in Brooklyn, New York’s Barclays Center and be headlined by a grudge match for the UFC Lightweight Championship between undefeated Champion, Khabib Nurmagomedov and top contender, Tony Ferguson. However, due to the pandemic, Khabib is unable to travel to the USA from his home in Russia.

Dana White was keen on keeping this card together and future cards, as well, to bring a sense of normalcy to fight-fans around the world.

This is one of the craziest things I’ve ever heard and personally, I can’t wait to see how this all plays out. Not to mention, we have an absolute BANGER on our hands, April 18th.
