BREAKING: CBS Sports’ Barrett Sallee Says Urban Meyer To Leave Jacksonville Jaguars; Meyer To Take College Football Head Coach Job?

This past weekend, a nine-second video showing Urban Meyer sitting at a bar wearing an Ohio State pull over while a young lady danced close to his lap went viral on social media. The video took place in Cincinnati after the Jacksonville Jaguars had a heartbreaking loss to the Bengals. Meyer declared he was going to stay in Cincinatti to spend time with his grand children, but clearly had other ideas in mind.

Since then, Meyer has apologized profusely not only to his family but the entire Jacksonville Jaguars organization. He had the following to say on the matter:

“I just apologized to the team and staff for being a distraction,” Meyer said. “Just stupid, and so I explained everything that happened and owned it. Just stupid. Should not have myself in that kind of position.”

Now things have gotten even more interesting, as CBS Sports’ Barrett Sallee tweeted that when Urban Meyer leaves Jacksonville (not if) he would be considered for college football jobs. Check out his tweet below from earlier this morning.

Will Meyer actually leave Jacksonville any time soon? Only time will tell, but there will likely be several college football head coaching jobs going into the 2022 season.
