This is heard on a hot mic, but the Big 10 is going to make an announcement that Big 10 football announcement is coming tonight. Watch the incident below:

“We’re getting ready to announce the Huskers and Big Ten football tonight”, said Ted Carter, University President, in a conversation with Bob Hinson, director of the National Strategic Research Institute.

Its small talk into a hot mic, but the sound guy makes news!

Update: So its almost 10, Central Time and no such announcement has been made. I’m beginning to think the announcement is that Nebraska is going rogue and doesn’t give a fuck. Many have said there hasn’t been a vote, I disagree, because of the hot mic, why would a president speak with such certainty? I would like to think he would know more, than the typical “source who won’t be named?” I think the teams that won’t be playing this season will be Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Rutgers, and Maryland, the rest will be playing. I’m still mystified as to why an announcement hasn’t happened, maybe not having the votes as one thought. That’s the only logical conclusion as to why the announcement won’t happen, but when it does, We will be keep you informed.
