TAMPA, Fla. – A Tampa woman has been reported missing after six weeks of no contact with friends or family.
Melissa Bennett was discharged from Florida Hospital located at 7171 Dale Mabry Highway North in Tampa on August 8, 2017.
A concerned friend contacted the police on September 21. The friend told officers neither Melissa’s family nor friends have heard from her in the six weeks she’s been discharged.
According to her mother, Melissa suffers from seizures.
Police describe Melissa as a white female, weighing 100 pounds, standing at 5-feet-2-inches, with blonde hair and blue eyes.
Anyone with any information regarding Melissa’s whereabouts is being asked to contact the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office at 813-247-8200.
