During a Brazilian soccer match, William Ribeiro brutally kicked a referee in the head. He shoved referee, Rodrigo Crivellaro to the ground after a bad call and took a running kick at his neck/head.
Crivellaro was knocked unconscious and the match was cancelled immediately as the police and medical staff stormed the pitch.
Ribeiro was arrested immediately following the event and was taken to the local police station. He was booked on attempted murder charge without bail.
Crivellaro was discharged from the hospital Tuesday morning.
