Brandon Moreno gets boxing lessons from Canelo

Written by Noah Gagnon

In today’s episode of things you absolutely love to see, UFC flyweight champ Brandon Moreno was receiving striking lessons from boxing legend Canelo Alvarez. Check out the tape.

This is just awesome, isn’t it? I’d like to think that Moreno can be MMA’s version of Canelo (although way smaller) and this makes that thought seem like a reality. And, it’s just another example of why Mexican fighters just completely rule. Not only do they never back down in combat, they form this mini team of super warriors and it’s awesome to see.

But, if I was a UFC flyweight, this pairing would terrify me. Moreno is dangerous enough. He’s already the best flyweight on the planet, and now he’s getting boxing tips from Canelo Alvarez! Are you kidding me? The only thing other flyweights can do to try to stop this is to hit up their nations local boxing hero and hope to get some pointers.
