All Elite Wrestling executives Cody Rhodes (EVP) and his wife Brandi (Chief Branding Officer) made a major announcement on AEW Dynamite: they are expecting their first child.
The couple married in 2013 after they met in WWE. Cody won the tag championships with multiple partners (including current WWE Champion Drew McIntyre) and multiple Intercontinental Championships in WWE while Brandi was predominantly a ring announcer. They left the company in 2016 as Cody took the wrestling world by storm while Brandi became an integral cog in the persona of “the American Nightmare.” Following a successful promotion of All In, Cody and Brandi became major forces behind the upstart All Elite Wrestling, financially backed by Tony Khan. It has been one of the best products in television for over a year. Cody was their first TNT Champion.
