Blue Jackets Recall Center Liam Foudy from Junior Club

Written by iamthunder

The Blue Jackets have been in much need of a skilled center who can score for a while now. With all of the injuries the team has suffered this season, scoring has been somewhat of an issue. Instead of dipping into their AHL roster to get some help, the Jackets recalled Liam Foudy from his junior club, the London Knights of the OHL, as reported in an article by Aaron Portzline of “The Athletic” (link below).

Foudy is fast, has impressive stick handling, and has been feared by OHL goaltenders. This is exciting news for Jackets’ fans. Although it may not last that long due to Canadian Hockey League rules (which governs the OHL), to see what the future of the team could look like this soon will be awesome to see. And we will for sure see what it looks like soon because he will be playing Monday night against the Tampa Bay Lightning.
