Bills Standout Defensive Player Ruled Out For Sunday’s Game Against The Dolphins

Written by Tony Ghaul

Buffalo Bills Head Coach Sean McDermott said that starting safety Jordan Poyer is out for Sunday’s game against the Miami Dolphins.

The loss of Poyer is huge as the Bills are facing the Dolphins high powered offense that scored 70 points last week.

Poyer is a key player on the Bills defense. He was named to the 2021 All-Pro team. Poyer finished the 2021 season with a career-high three sacks and tied a previous high of five interceptions.

Throughout the 2022 season, Poyer battled multiple injuries and missed several games but remained a key contributor on defense. He had 4 interceptions and selected to the Pro Bowl.
