Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin suffered an incredibly scary injury during Monday Night Football game against the Cincinnati Bengals. Football fans across social media have tweeted their support. Many fans and players have also come together for an incredibly amazing gesture.

In December 2020, Hamlin, who was a standout at Pittsburgh before he was drafted by the Bills, created The Chasing M’s Foundation and launched a toy drive before he turned pro. His GoFundMe was still up throughout the holiday season and through the Monday night game before tragedy struck.

Since Hamlin’s injury, football Twitter discovered the GoFundMe. As of Tuesday morning, the campaign has raised over $3 million and counting.

With 5:58 left in the game’s first quarter. Hamlin made a tackle on Bengals WR Tee Higgins. He got up before immediately falling over and collapsing to the turf.

Medical personnel rushed onto the field and spent 10 minutes administering CPR after he suffered cardiac arrest. He was transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. He is currently in critical condition.

Please send all thoughts and prayers to Hamlin and his family.
