Big Shock! Josh Allen Blames Media For Rift With Stefon Diggs

Written by Tony Ghaul

Here’s a big shock, Bills QB Josh Allen blames media for rift with WR Stefon Diggs. He says the media has exaggerated and misrepresented the situation.

Many media members, believe that a rift between Diggs and Allen started after the Bills 27-10 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals in the playoffs this past January. Diggs was upset on the sidelines with his usage on the Bills final possession.

Diggs also left the facility early. He was gone before the Bills coaching staff made it to the locker room.

The 29 year-old Diggs was a no-show at the start of Bills mini camp in June. Head Coach Sean McDermott issued a statement saying his absence was “very concerning.”

Josh Allen on a recent episode of “Bussin’ with the Boys” podcast said, “The media has blown this so far out of proportion.”

“We are in minicamp. We’re not playing a game for four months, he doesn’t show up one day, he’s still there, and the media just blew it up and they’re still talking about it. Let it go. There’s no reason to continue to talk about it.”

Diggs is a major part of the Bills offense. He is the top target for QB Josh Allen. Diggs is in the second year of his four-year, $96 million contract with the Bills.

Buffalo’s success depends on the combination of Allen and Diggs. It should be interesting to see how this plays out.
