Cincinnati Bengals LB Germaine Pratt was not happy after his team fell in the AFC Championship Game. He let his feelings regarding a late hit from teammate Joseph Ossai.
The Bengals and Chiefs were tied at 20 with under a minute left to play in regulation, when Bengals defensive end Joseph Ossai committed one of the dumbest penalties you’ll ever see.
Ossai hit Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes, when he was clearly out of bounds causing a personal foul penalty to be called.
The result set up a 45 yard game-winning 45-yard field-goal for the Chiefs. Ossai was devastated on the sideline following the final whistle.
Bengals LB Germaine Pratt called out Ossai during an emotional outburst on his way to the locker room.
In the video, you can hear Pratt yell, “this that motherf-cker’s last year.” He then says, “why would he even touch the quarterback?”
After the game, Ossai spoke to the media where he expressed gratitude for his teammates giving him support. “Means the world to me. These guys mean a lot to me,” a visibly emotional Ossai said.
The Bengals were seeking their second straight trip to the Super Bowl.
