The Chicago Bears have drafted Georgia WR Riley Ridley who is the younger brother of Atlanta Falcons WR Calvin Ridley. This was a steal for Chicago and I believe that Riley will be a wide receiver who we will be hearing about for years.

In 2016 as a freshman, Ridley would put up 238 yards on 12 catches with two touchdowns. As a sophomore he was able to start in seven games catching 14 passes for 218 yards and two touchdowns but really showed up in the national championship game tallying up 82 yards off six catches.

In 2018 he lead the team in receptions with 44 catches, 570 yards and scoring nine times.

The Ridley’s grew up without their father and it wasn’t his fault, his father was deported and his mother had to play the two roles.

“He was deported to Guyana when Calvin was 7,”- “They never saw him again.” – more here.
