Barstool Sports is Taking Over Major League Baseball? @stoolpresidente @barstoolsports

The media empire known as Barstool Sports continues to take off to the moon as it is being reported that Barstool Sports and the MLB have engaged in “significant negotiations about having nation midweek games on the sites platform” first reported by Andrew Marchand.

For the average Joe this might come as a surprise that Barstool Sports is diving into the professional sports world but it shouldn’t. Only a few weeks ago it was announced that Barstool is sponsoring its first college bowl game, the Arizona bowl, and as the Barstool Sports Book continues to grow in states that make sports betting legal it only makes sense that they would partner with a professional sports league.

Love them or hate them Barstool is now synonymous with pop culture, and culture in general. Dave Portnoy has a bigger brain than you and I and there is no other way to go about it. Again it is crazy to say because the rocket ship is already near the moon but hop on before it is too late, you’ll regret it.

This sounds like a match made in heaven and almost honestly makes too much sense, Barstool has three of the top 5 baseball podcasts on Apple Music and they make tons of content surrounding the MLB. Also the MLB wants to make baseball ‘fun’ and get the younger generation more involved and ‘excited’ about the game, if they can get Barstool involved they get their perfect demographic. They are taking over and it will only be time before they are partnered with the three other major sports. Cry.
