When it was announced that Gary Patterson would be leaving TCU there was a lot of questions about who would be the next head coach. Gary had been there the longest time, and had really become a staple of the BIG 12. The next hire would be important for a whole other set of reasons. With Oklahoma and Texas moving to the SEC the BIG 12 would be wide open.
The rational thing to do is to bring in one of the biggest and most famous names in football. Prime time Deion Sanders! As of now Coach Sanders is coach at Jackson St. This is Sanders first head coaching job. Obviously going from Jackson St to TCU is a jump up. But there is not debate that coach Prime would be able to recruit, especially in the state of Texas. This hire makes sense for everyone involved and I would love to see it.
