The Baltimore Ravens have had quite the year when it comes to the running back position. The Ravens lost their top three running backs before the season started, and it’s been a back and forth ever year since when it came to who would be starting.

At the beginning of the year, Latavius Murray seemed to be the clear started, but as we head into the latter part of the season it appears that Deonte Freeman has emerged as the lead running back on the Ravens depth chart.

With that said, one thing is for sure. Le’Veon Bell’s chances with the Ravens have expired, as he was released from the organization back on November 16th.

Head Coach John Harbaugh commented on Bell’s release below.

“He can still play,” Harbaugh said Wednesday, via ESPN’s Jamison Hensley. “We’ll just see where we’re at going forward. Things can turn one way or another.”
