Baltimore Ravens Head Coach Leaves NFL; Accepts Coaching Role At Arizona State University @ravens

Written by Chris Powers

The Baltimore Ravens had a tumultuous season to say the least. After a disappointing finish to the season and losing six games straight, adjustments needed to be made.

It was announced that after ten years with the organization, the Ravens were firing defensive coordinator Don “Wink” Martindale.

And now, just a couple of weeks later, an announcement has been made that former Baltimore Ravens head coach Brian Billick has take a new job with Arizona State University.

Billick was the head coach of the Baltimore Ravens from 1999-2007 and led the organization to its first Super Bowl in the year 2000. Billick joins a cast of former NFL head coaches now at Arizona State including Marvin Lewis and Herm Edwards.

Current Baltimore head coach John Harbaugh had nothing but good things to say about Billick upon his induction into the Baltimore Ravens “Ring of Honor.” You can watch the video below of Harbaugh speaking about Billick.
