Baker Mayfield has been one of the most talked about athletes on ProSportsExtra.com during the NFL offseason, I mean it’s hard to not talk about him. Everyone wants to know where the quarterback is going to play this season and we have heard all of the rumors.
Here are a couple rumors to start it off:
But right now?
People are thinking that Baker could possibly end up being traded to Tampa Bay to backup star quarterback Tom Brady. Brady has retired and unretired during the offseason and Tampa Bay might be looking for someone to learn under Brady who already has the skills they need to start in the future and that might just possibly be for Baker Mayfield.

Obvious: Seattle
Less obvious, still possible: Detroit, Houston
Could see it: Tampa Bay
All comes down to what the Browns are willing to eat/give up at this point. I don’t buy they’re going to bank on injuries creating a market.

According to DawgPoundDaily:
Former Bucs head coach Bruce Arians has said in the past that he wanted to be the Browns head coach publicly. He’s now a senior football consultant for the Buccaneers. Arians and the rest of the Buccaneers front office have to be considering a player like Mayfield being a potential backup to Tom Brady. The organization knows he’ll retire again soon, and Mayfield would be there ready to take over.
Fans are starting to think he could end up in Tampa as well:
