Detroit Tigers Houston Astros MLB

Astros are Biggest Favorites Since 2005

The Detroit Tigers continue their series against Justin Verlander and the Houston Astros Wednesday night. The Astros money line is -510 making them the most favored team in Major League Baseball since 2005.

That is pretty incredible, considering each team plays 162 regular season games per year.

This is not particularly surprising, however, as the Tigers have the worst record in the MLB at 37-86 and Verlander is, once again, in the AL Cy Young Conversation.

This will be Verlander’s fourth start against his former team. In the previous three starts, Verlander has a 3.60 ERA in 20 innings, winning two of the three starts.
