Arizona State staffers were reportedly leaking information to help opponents and get Head Coach Herman Edwards fired.
“An opposing coach recently told The Athletic that it wasn’t hard to get intel on the team, because some within Arizona State athletics wanted a coaching change.”
Edwards was fired amid an NCAA investigation that led to five coaches leaving the staff. Edwards allegedly hosted recruits during the non-contact period.
Whether or not Edwards was involved in the Arizona State football scandal, it’s hard to believe that there were members of his own staff looking to speed up his removal as Head Coach.
