Andrew’s Top 3: Fantasy Football Running Backs

With the 2022 NFL Football Season less than 100 days away, I know a lot of people are thinking about their Fantasy Football Teams. Here is my take on the Top 3 Running Backs to draft.

  1. Jonathan Taylor – In 2021, Taylor led the NFL with 1,811 yards rushing, 18 rushing TD’s, 40 receptions, with 2 receiving TD’s. Taylor was a points getting machine last year and if he stays healthy, he’ll be able to do the same in 2022. With the Colts bringing in Matt Ryan to open up the passing game, it should allow Taylor to break even longer runs. Don’t forget that Matt Ryan also likes to hit his RB’s on the flat. Taylor had a total of 333 Fantasy Football Points in 2021. My 2022 FFB Points Projection is 350.
  2. Alvin Kamara – In 2021, Kamara only brought in 187 points, but we all know what is capable of doing. Also, he only played in 13 games for the Saints. On just 898 yards rushing, Kamara also scored 9 TD’s. We all know is a receiving-type RB, who is extremely fast and elusive. With 2022 going to be the second year that Drew Bress is not at QB, the Saints will definitely rely on Kamara, as long as he stays healthy. I’m sure Kamara will be drafted quick, but would you pick him over Taylor or anyone else? My 2022 FFB Points Projection is 310.
  3. Najee Harris – In 2021, Harris had 1,200 yards rushing, 7 TD’s, 74 receptions, with 3 receiving TD’s. 74 RECEPTIONS!! He was a rookie last year, too. With Harris being so versatile, the Steelers know that he can do it all on Offense. Also, with Big Ben retiring, they are going to be looking to keep Harris very involved, just like last year. He had an amazing rookie year, so look for him to do the same in year 2. In 2021, Harris had 226 FFB Points. My 2022 FFB Points Projection is 275.
